A Conversation With Alex DeMille

A large and enthusiastic audience attended "A Conversation and Book Signing with Alex DeMille," sponsored by The Friends on May 27. Library Director, Marianne Malagon, interviewed Alex, asking about his writing process with a particular focus on his experience co-authoring The Tin Men with his late father, Nelson DeMille. His thoughtful responses revealed the depth and authenticity of his approach as a writer.

The interview was followed by a lively Q&A session, during which Alex's keen intellect and humor were on full display.Those in attendance were delighted to learn that Alex is currently writing his first solo novel and eagerly look forward to reading it.

Copies of The Tin Men were available for purchase, courtesy of Theodore's Books, and Alex graciously signed books following the program. The Friends are grateful for the support of the Library Board, administration, and staff, and for the opportunity to collaborate with them on this memorable event.
