Breaking New Ground!

The Friends of The Garden City Library are pleased to share exciting news with our community: the town Board of Trustees has agreed to fund phase one of the lower level renovation!

This milestone reflects months of hard work and advocacy. Members of the Friends group attended and spoke at multiple Village Board meetings, expressing their support for a project that will benefit all patrons. We are incredibly grateful to the Board for recognizing the value of the lower level renovation proposal and helping bring it to life.

To further support this endeavor, the Friends are proud to contribute an additional $55,000 toward the renovation. This investment underscores our ongoing commitment to enhancing the library as a welcoming, vibrant space for learning, connection, and discovery.
